An illustrated story · not a navigation map

Two measures, in order.
Walk or run 600 km to the mountain. Verified ascent accumulates during the approach too, but is revealed only at the foot. Arrive with 10,000 m banked and continue from 10,000 m towards 21,900 m.
Choose your journey
Activate Olympus Mons in the app. Future verified walks, runs and route recordings count automatically. Switching expeditions never moves earlier activity.
Reach the foot first
Complete the full 600 km approach. Ascent earned on the way is banked and revealed at the foot. It cannot bypass the plains.
Only height counts after that
At the foot, your banked ascent becomes visible. Continue accumulating verified positive elevation gain until you reach 21,900 m.
The server verifies recorded distance and elevation. Imported GPX files, manually entered totals and vehicle travel do not count towards the expedition.
The road up
One landscape, from the plain to the caldera.
One mountain, one continuous approach. Six cinematic views draw you from the distant plains to the volcanic slopes and the rim of the caldera. A prologue and twelve checkpoints give every stage its own story.
The approach · 600 km
The same distant silhouette grows closer with every verified kilometre across the plains.
The ascent · 21,900 m
At the foot, distance gives way to elevation. Your new climbs reveal the slopes and terraces of Olympus Mons.
The caldera · journey complete
The trail reaches the crater rim. Your flag marks the end of an expedition earned one step at a time.

A summit worth remembering
Every step higher, on a coin of its own.
Olympus Mons in relief. A tangible reminder of the 600 km approach and the 21,900 m ascent earned after it. Once completion is verified, the server assigns your permanent, unique serial number — never shared with another finisher.
Finishing unlocks the option to buy the physical commemorative coin. Your number appears in the app. Sales will open when production is ready.
