Set out from Poncebos into the limestone mountains of the Picos de Europa. The author’s itinerary combines parts of El Anillo de Picos and GR201 before continuing towards Cangas de Onís. Mountain huts and villages offer stopping points, but wet, changeable weather and protected passages demand preparation. Reserve limited hut spaces ahead. Photography: Ondřej Georgiovský.
