Leave Vent for a multi-day circuit among the high peaks of the Ötztal Alps. The hut network offers some flexibility, but the Kesselwand glacier crossing and protected passages require appropriate experience. Plan reservations and glacier equipment, including rope, crampons, harness and ice axe, and check conditions shortly before departure. Photography: Zikmund Schwarzkopf alias Síga.
